The Dinton Hermit is a country Inn situated in the small village of Ford in Buckinghamshire, close to Thame, Princes Risborough and Aylesbury. There are 13 bedrooms, a restaurant, a bar with some locally brewed and well kept beers and the comfort of an open fire. There are a selection of rooms available including six Barn Rooms which are newly refurbished double rooms in the Courtyard, five Regency Rooms which are superior double rooms in the main building and two superb King Charles rooms which are the four poster suites, also in the main building. For evening meals, lunches or a quick snack on offer is a range of quality dishes , with ingredients sourced locally wherever possible. The bar is a comfortable and friendly place to pop in for a quick drink or enjoy an evening in front of the open fire, with a meal provided by our kitchen team. A wide selection of wines, draft lagers, locally brewed real ales, and spirits are available from the bar. There is a fabulous large garden which is a great place for couples, friends and families on a sunny day. Ford is a quiet hamlet in the middle of the Aylesbury Vale area of Buckinghamshire. The village has a few houses, historic farms and the traditional village pub - The Dinton Hermit Inn. Buckinghamshire is a popular place to visit for short breaks. As well as Aylesbury and Thame nearby, London is only 45 minutes away on the train from Haddenham and Thame Parkway station whilst Oxford and Milton Keynes are only a 30 minute drive away. Directions

FROM THE M25. Exit the M25 at Junction 20 ont the A41 in the direction of Aylesbury. Follow the A41 onto Tring Street (A41) entering Aylesbury. Go Over the roundabout onto High Street (A41). Turn left onto Exchange Street (A41) and then at the roundabout go straight over onto Friarage Road (A41). Turn left onto Oxford Road (A418). At the bend take a left onto Portway Road. At the crossroads turn left into Ford. Take your first left onto Water Lane.
